We feel it’s important to share the changes we are making in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19). Here at the Oregon Garden Resort, nothing is more important than the health and safety of our guests and employees.
While we always strive to maintain the highest standards when it comes to cleaning and maintaining our hotels, we're taking it even further by increasing the frequency of our cleanings in public areas and being very thorough in our guest rooms.
Please note, the state of Oregon is requiring the use of a face covering in public areas.
The Oregon Garden Resort is a great place for your next vacation - each hotel room has an outdoor entrance (there are no indoor hallways or elevators) and none of our rooms have central heating or air. In addition, here are some of the changes we've made to keep you safe during your visit:
Contactless Check-In! You will receive a text message on the morning of your arrival, just click the secure link and fill in your payment information. You will be charged a $1 authorization that will be refunded immediately. That way, when you arrive, you won't have to hand us your cards! If you would rather share your information in person, you're welcome to do that too. In addition, we have added Plexiglass partitions to our front desk, for your safety.
Electrostatic Sprayers: We are using electrostatic sprayers with hospital-grade disinfectant to sterilize high-touch areas in public locations and in our Moonstone Spa.
Sanitizing: Our housekeeping staff is regularly sanitizing all surfaces that are frequently touched using a disinfectant, certified to kill COVID-19. We are focusing on all surfaces in guest rooms (including doorknobs, light switches, countertops, microwaves, and remotes) and public spaces (terminals and pens at the front desk, stalls and surfaces in the bathroom, menus and tables in the restaurant, and more). We are also continuing to launder all linens and towels in hot, soapy water. For your safety, we have also removed reusable items from the rooms, including pens and paper, collateral and directories.
Social Distancing: We are maintaining a six-foot distance between our staff and guests.
Face Coverings: Our staff, including housekeeping, food service, spa and others will wear face coverings.
The state of Oregon is requiring the use of a face covering in public areas. This mandate doesn't apply to persons under the age of 5 or persons who require an accommodation or exemption under state or federal law.
Handwashing: We have continued to emphasize and train employees to follow our strict handwashing policies.
Employees exhibiting any signs of sickness are prohibited from working.
Amenities: During this time, some of our amenities will remain closed, including our pool and hot tub, until further notice. Our ice and soda machines are also closed, please visit the front desk for these services. Each guest will receive a list of current amenities and property changes upon arrival.
We are staying up-to-date on all of the latest developments and guidelines suggested by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, World Health Organization, our local Health Departments and other appropriate agencies. Our Corporate and Management leadership teams are closely monitoring the situation and will continue to exceed official prevention guidelines, to help keep our property clean and safe. The health and safety of you and our employees is our highest priority.

Prior to an appointment, clients will be contacted and asked the following questions. If a client answers "yes" to any of these, the Spa will reschedule the appointment:
- Have you had a cough?
- Have you had a fever?
- Have you had shortness of breath?
- Have you been in close contact with anyone with these symptoms or anyone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the past 14 days?
In addition, all providers will be wearing masks and gloves, treatment rooms will be rotated to ensure proper sanitizing. The Relaxation Room will not be used and guests will be taken to their treatment room to change. Our goal is to provide a relaxing, enjoyable experience while keeping our clients and staff safe and healthy.
